Text alerts are not active yet. Game notifications continue by email while we prepare the service.
The service
WhistleCall helps league coordinators assign referees to games and keeps referees informed by email. When text alerts launch, referees may opt in and parents or guardians may separately enroll for informational texts. It is provided as is, without warranty. Game details come from coordinators; confirm anything important with your coordinator if in doubt.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep your portal link private. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current so offers reach you.
SMS terms
- Program — WhistleCall referee notifications: game offers, schedule changes, and cancellations. Parent and guardian texts cover the same events as informational alerts.
- Opt in — when text enrollment launches, the referee and parent or guardian will have separate, optional SMS boxes in the referee portal. The person receiving texts enters or confirms their number and checks their own box. Saving a number without checking its box does not enroll it. Enrollment is not required to referee. - Frequency — message frequency varies with your schedule. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out — uncheck your box or reply STOP to cancel at any time. You will receive one confirmation message. After a carrier STOP, texting START restores delivery and re-enrolls the number. Reply HELP for help.
- Game decisions — only the referee may accept or decline an offer. Parent and guardian messages are informational.
- Carriers — carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Acceptable use
Do not share another referee's information, misrepresent your certification, or use the service for anything other than officiating games you have been offered.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
