Optional text alerts

For parents and guardians

Text alerts are not active yet. Game notifications continue by email while we prepare the service.

When text alerts launch, WhistleCall can text you when your referee receives a game offer or when an assigned game changes or is cancelled. The referee remains responsible for accepting or declining offers.

How enrollment will work

  1. Open the referee's private portal link or sign in with the email address on the referee account.
  2. In Contact info, enter the parent or guardian mobile number.
  3. The parent or guardian checks the separate box for their number and saves. The referee can choose their own texts independently.

Entering a number alone does not enroll it. Both boxes are optional and unchecked until the person receiving texts chooses to opt in. No message is sent when contact information is saved. If the same parent receives alerts for multiple referees, they can opt in on each referee account.

Your choices

Message frequency varies with assignments, typically a few texts per week during the season. Message and data rates may apply. Uncheck the box to stop future texts, or reply STOP to end texts at any time. After a carrier STOP, texting START restores delivery and re-enrolls the number. Reply HELP for help.
